Questions about the email finder
How does the email finder work?
We look for the email in three ways. We search public web pages, we match the email pattern the company uses, and we ask the mail server if the address exists. You get the result with a confidence score and a clear status.
What does each search cost?
Find email: 1 credit. Verify email: 1 credit. Domain search: 1 credit per email found. For a domain search you pick the max (10, 25, 50 or 100 emails). We hold credits for the max, then give back the ones we did not use.
What happens if nothing is found or a search fails?
If we find nothing, or a search fails on our side, the credit goes back to your account automatically. We take credits before a search starts and return them if it fails.
How do I search in bulk?
Switch the tool to Bulk. Paste a list separated by commas or new lines, or upload a CSV file. Each row costs the same as a single search. Your CSV file is read in your browser and is not uploaded.
Can I find an email from a LinkedIn profile?
Yes. In the Find email tab, paste the LinkedIn profile link instead of a name and domain. In bulk, put one profile link per line.
Can I find decision makers at a company?
Yes. Use Domain search, add a job title like CEO or Head of Marketing, or pick Executive under Decision makers. Domain search is on paid plans, from $24 a month.
Can I verify an email I already have?
Yes. Use the Verify email tab. We check the address with the mail server and tell you if it is valid, risky or invalid. The verifier is on paid plans.
