Go GST Bill in 2026: An Honest Look at Its Billing Caps, Rs. 1499 Premium and Policies
Go GST Bill is online invoicing software built for Indian sellers who want GST-ready bills, inventory tracking and transport documents from one login. This review covers the product at gogstbill.com only. Everything below comes from pages we opened on October 29, 2026: the vendor’s homepage, feature list, pricing page, FAQ, terms, privacy policy and about page, plus official GST portal pages for the tax rules and a public registration lookup for the domain. No account was opened, no phone number was entered and none of the free calculators were run, so nothing here is a hands-on result.
What Go GST Bill Does and Who It Serves
The product in one paragraph
The homepage describes the app as free GST billing software for MSMEs. It lets a business raise sales and purchase invoices, track inventory with low stock alerts, produce e-way bills plus e-invoices, set up staff logins with roles, fill customer details from a GSTIN, send payment reminders, print a UPI QR code on invoices and share bills by WhatsApp, email or SMS. There is a web version and an Android app on Google Play, and an iOS listing on the App Store.
The company behind the app
According to the about page, the operator is FinSync Technolabs Private Limited, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. That page traces the business back to 2010 and places the first Go GST Bill release in 2017. The contact page lists help@gogstbill.com, an office at Sumel Business Park 7 in Rakhial, Ahmedabad, and the company’s GSTIN and CIN. The domain record agrees with that timeline: an ICANN lookup for gogstbill.com shows a creation date of July 6, 2017 and an expiry of July 6, 2028, with GoDaddy as registrar.
Claims you should read as claims
The homepage says the app is “Trusted by 2 Lakh+ MSMEs” and is “ISO 27001 Certified”. The Google Play listing uses a different figure, “1L+ MSMEs”, and shows a 4.6 rating from 14 reviews as of our visit. The about page also carries a 2026 growth ranking that the company gives itself. We found no third-party source for the user counts or the growth claim, so treat them as the company’s own statements. The FAQ adds that the certification is ISO/IEC 27001:2022; we did not see a certificate number or an auditor name.
Domains to know
The product lives on gogstbill.com, and sign-up runs on the subdomain bill.gogstbill.com. An ICANN lookup for gogstbill.in shows a domain registered in February 2019 through GoDaddy, but it did not load a working site for us and the registrant is not public. A lookup for gogst.com shows an unrelated parked name from 2009. The spellings gogstbill.net, gogstbill.co.in and go-gst-bill.com returned no registration record. Type the address by hand rather than following a search ad.
The Go GST Bill Feature Set, Page by Page
Invoices and other sales paperwork
The features page lists A4, A5 and thermal print formats, multi-currency export invoices and SEZ invoices. Its heading promises “15+ Invoice Templates” while the text under it says 11+, so the real count is unclear. The pricing page adds that paying users can issue quotes, proforma bills, challans for delivery, POs, sales orders, job work documents and credit or debit notes.
Compliance helpers
The features page mentions HSN and SAC code checks, e-invoices with IRN and QR code, an audit trail, plus report views for GSTR-1, 2B and 3B. The e-way bill page says a bill can be created from an invoice in one click and cancelled the same way, without opening the government portal yourself. The FAQ adds that both document types can also be produced from a JSON file.
Stock, barcodes and customer controls
Inventory tools on the features page cover batch and serial numbers, barcode labels, price lists and bills of materials. Customer records support grouping and credit limits. Premium adds Tally integration, cheque printing, custom fields, digital signatures and a document store called Go Drive.
Staff accounts
The features page describes role permissions, access limited to set hours and activity logs. Premium allows 10 staff accounts.
Free calculators
A GST tools page offers a GST calculator, a GSTIN checker and an HSN or SAC finder. We did not run them.
Setting Up Go GST Bill: From OTP to First Invoice
The steps below follow the vendor’s own pages. We stopped at the sign-up screen.
1. Open the sign-up page, enter an Indian mobile number with the +91 prefix and confirm the one-time password. The form asks you to accept the terms and privacy policy, and it does not ask for an email or password.
2. Add your business profile and GSTIN. The homepage says customer details can be filled from a GSTIN automatically.
3. Load customers and products, or use the AI import that the homepage describes for purchase bills.
4. Create an invoice, then share it by WhatsApp, email or SMS, or print it.
5. For goods moving by road, the e-way bill page lists three steps: create the invoice, click Generate E-Way Bill, then print or download.
6. Export a copy of your records from Settings > Export Data, as the FAQ explains.
Important note: transport bills, IRN invoices, text messages and AI-read purchase bills draw on paid credits whatever plan you hold, and the terms ask users to check every output from a government integration before relying on it. Treat the software as a helper, and confirm each document on the official portal.
What the GST rules say
The official e-Invoice portal explains that GST registered persons upload B2B invoices to the Invoice Registration Portal, which returns an IRN, a digitally signed e-invoice and a QR code. The GST portal’s GSTR-1 user guide says the return can be prepared online, with the Returns Offline Tool, or through a third-party application of an Application Software Provider via a GST Suvidha Provider. The same guide gives the 11th of the next month as the monthly due date and the 13th after the quarter for quarterly filers, and notes that e-invoice data flows into GSTR-1 tables. The Go GST Bill FAQ says the app cannot file returns itself; it produces the reports you need for filing.
Go GST Bill Plans and Prices in INR
Two plans appeared on the pricing page when we opened it on October 29, 2026.
| Tier | Price as shown | Document caps | Selected inclusions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lifetime Free | Free | Max 25 items per document, max 3000 documents per year | Sales and purchase invoices, customer and product records, inventory, receipts for payments, the phone app, support by phone and email, WhatsApp sharing, no ads and no branding |
| Premium | Rs. 1499 /Year + GST | Max 250 items per document, max 15000 documents per year | Advanced inventory, payment reminders, transport bills and IRN invoices, quotes and other documents, reports, GST return filing reports, 10 staff accounts, 15+ templates, barcode, Tally integration |
Premium comes with a “30 DAYS FREE TRIAL”. A footnote under the plans explains that four extras are billed through credits you buy as you go: the one-click transport bill, the one-click IRN invoice, text messages and AI purchase import. The page did not show what a credit costs, so the real yearly bill for a business that files many e-way bills cannot be worked out from public pages. The cancellation and refund policy, dated February 8, 2024, says all sales are final.
How Go GST Bill Stacks Up Against Other Indian Billing Apps
The vendor publishes its own comparison pages against Swipe and myBillBook, which are marketing pages rather than independent tests. Below are four other options described in neutral terms from their own homepages. We did not check their prices.
myBillBook
myBillBook presents itself as billing software for small businesses in India. Go GST Bill publishes a comparison page against it, so read both vendors’ pages side by side.
Vyapar
Vyapar describes its product as billing software for small business with GST billing in India. Readers who need offline use should check its own documentation, since Go GST Bill is cloud only.
Zoho Invoice
Zoho Invoice is described on its page as free GST invoicing software for Indian businesses. It sits inside the wider Zoho product family, which can help if you already use Zoho tools.
TallyPrime
TallyPrime is business management software from Tally Solutions. Go GST Bill offers a Tally integration on Premium, so some firms may use both.
| Product | Where it runs | Price data in this review | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Go GST Bill | Web, Android, iOS | Free plan and Rs. 1499 per year + GST | Some extras billed by credit |
| myBillBook | Check vendor site | Not checked | Go GST Bill publishes a comparison page |
| Vyapar | Check vendor site | Not checked | Small business GST billing |
| Zoho Invoice | Web | Not checked | Part of the Zoho family |
| TallyPrime | Check vendor site | Not checked | Integration offered by Go GST Bill |
Strong Points
- A free tier that covers routine billing. Up to 3000 documents a year with no ads or branding is enough for many small sellers.
- Low published entry price. Rs. 1499 a year plus GST is shown clearly on the pricing page.
- Compliance tools in the same screen as billing. Transport documents, IRN invoices and return reports are reached from the invoice editor.
- Support on free accounts. The homepage lists phone and WhatsApp help from 10 AM to 7 PM every day, including on the free plan.
- An export path. The FAQ points to a full data export under Settings.
Weak Points and Open Questions
- Credit pricing is not published. Anyone who issues many e-way bills or e-invoices cannot estimate the full cost before signing up.
- No offline mode. The FAQ confirms the app needs an internet connection.
- It does not file returns. You still file on the GST portal or through another provider.
- Small inconsistencies. The template count (15+ or 11+) and the user count (2 Lakh+ or 1L+) differ between pages.
- Firm sales terms. The terms state “No RETURN, No REFUND AND No CANCELLATION”, and any dispute is settled by an arbitrator seated in Ahmedabad, with Indian law applying.
Privacy, Data and Account Terms
Under the privacy policy (version of May 29, 2026), the company collects name, email, phone number, address and PAN, and it states that it does not sell personal data. It uses Google Analytics and cookies and mentions the Google DART advertising cookie, which sits awkwardly next to the “No ads” line on the free plan. Documents sent through AI features go to Google Gemini for processing. Users can ask for deletion by email, and accounts left unused for 6 months are removed under the same policy. It also says minor changes to the policy will not be posted.
The terms make users solely responsible for their own backups. Liability is limited to what a customer paid over the prior 12 months, and to INR 1,000 for anyone on the free plan. Combined with the inactivity rule, that is a good reason to run the export from time to time.
The Google Play data safety section, as shown on the store listing, says no data is shared with third parties, location may be collected, data is encrypted in transit and deletion can be requested.
Which Businesses Should Shortlist Go GST Bill
- Small shops and wholesalers whose yearly invoice volume stays under the free cap and who want to start at no cost.
- Traders who ship goods between states and want e-way bills created from the invoice screen, provided they can live with credit charges.
- Owners with counter staff who need role limits and activity logs.
- Firms on Tally that want a lighter billing front end, since Premium lists a Tally link.
- Marketers vetting a client’s tools. If you write about or partner with Indian MSME software, read the pricing footnote and the refund policy before you describe the product as free.
It is a weaker choice for businesses with patchy internet or for anyone who wants the software to file returns directly.

Bottom Line on Go GST Bill
Go GST Bill offers a usable free plan and a paid tier priced in plain INR, with GST compliance tools close to the invoice screen. The gaps are the unpublished credit rates, the cloud-only design, strict no-refund terms and an inactivity deletion rule that makes your own backups essential. Use the trial month with real invoices, and confirm every transport bill and IRN invoice on the government portal before you depend on it.
If you also handle the email side of billing, our guides on transactional emails, email management and a professional email address cover invoice emails and inbox setup. Email Finder Online lists its own plans on its pricing page.
